About the Artist

My creative journey has taken me from art major to journalism degree to marketing agency owner...and back to a focus on art. Through paintings, I like to explore seen and unseen worlds, sometimes by imagining what could have been or what might be. After all, there's a lot of energy flowing through the universe.
With insight, and a bit of luck, some of my work makes emotional connections with those who view it. It's perfectly fine if that connection is made via my interpretation of Sedona's legendary vortexes or through a simple watercolor that conjures up the intangible feeling of a Wisconsin farmstead on a summer afternoon.
A little effort called Park Art Project keeps me on track and is aimed at supporting the belief that art makes the world a better place. Through it, 30% of my profits are donated to non-profits.
Honing my skills is a never-ending effort. Periodically, I attend an open figure drawing studio, take a portrait class, sketch while out and about and often study other art and artists. Those things always find a way into my work.
I love chatting about art, community and being of service. Find me on Instagram or get in touch here.
